Light in August at Aunt Bliss's

Clara Jade and Vivienne August with me, Aunt Bliss.

Columbus, Mississippi Girls

The cosmos collided and the Vortex sucked everyone here at the same time!

Carley and Ginger have known each other since they were their babies ages!
I meet these ladies in High School teaching a cheer leader camp.

"Time keeps on slipping, into Future"
-Steve Miller Band-

Vivi and Clara, Colorado Girls!
We left offerings at the Stupa for the future, prosperity, and blessings for these precious ones.

Carley and I are showing Vivers and Baby Clara the ropes!
(and making sure they did not take the mini 'My Pony" that was left there. LOL!!!!!)
Time to manifest!!

Clara's first.....
Vivi picked flowers for all of our hair and when it was time to go she sat down in the rocks and said "I don't want to leave!".

Mississippian Novelist, William Faulkner, titled one his novels, "Light in August", after the strange but beautiful light that glows this time of year.  These pictures show that light but they don't show the light that my dear, dear, Mississippi girlfriends and their babies bring and brought to my heart on this summer's weekend in August.
Thank you!
So much Love, Bliss.

'Real Time' Crestonia Hike

Awwwwwww ........what a warm mountain day!
The Creek was Full Up!

The butterflies posed for me.  I believe its a male and female.

If you look close, those are tiny blue butterflies on the ground!

My new Crestonia friend, Caitlin and I had the most awesome day hike today on the North Crestone Trail.  Time slowed down as we hiked.  Caitlin and I agreed it was "Real Time" in the woods!
"Real Time"

We both have a glow in the pictures of ourselves but that is how we were feeling!
"All we need sometimes is to get our butts up the mountain  to get perspective on life and get our clocks reset to slow down and notice all the beautiful things around us!"

"Mountain Glow"

Deep thoughts on the trail today.....  We both have the Southern flare of being able to talk smack, get really loud and laugh at ourselves and all people who take themselves so Serious!
Seriously!
LOL

There were so many wildflowers blooming!

There are old mines all over the sides of this trail.  If you are not paying attention you will miss them.  It is the reason the town of Crestone exist.
It is a shady past but it brings a different energy to Crestone.  It is one of protection of what is "really in them mountains"
So we must give them props of creating a town so we can live here today!
We both agree those miners had some "balls" to do what they did.

Overview!  You can see on the side mountain where they mined under those 2 cliff boulders.

Back lighting via North Crestone Creek.
Finished the day with refreshing beverages at the Bliss Cafe!

Crestone Mountain Shaman

I have lived here for over a year and I see new things in these
mountains all the time!
The Native Americans believe that the Sangre De Cristo mountains to be a sacred
 and holy place.
It does not take a hard look to see the face at the top/middle of picture to see the Shaman.
The recent snow just brings it out even more!
Thank you Lord for giving us this chance to live here in this most holy sacred place!!!
AMEN!

Past Peak....

....... But Still breath taking!
Neill and I hiked the Willow Trail yesterday for a couple of hours. We haven't had time to do any hiking this summer but what an awesome day to make up for it!
Willow Creek

I am pumped for next summer hiking now!  I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to handle the hike through the Sangre's foothill's.  But I guess all my walking this summer paid off!

We made it to this nice Vantage Point!!!! YAY!!!
